Students of Ocean of Light International School celebrate their Feast Day with doing a service project.  “Students are collecting gifts and they have to choose an organization to present them their gifts as their donation, and they chose Women & Children Crisis Centre to be their service project organization”, said Filimoevalu, a school teacher on Wednesday 29th of Feb when they visit the centre.

“On behalf of the Director and the Staff of WCCC we are very thankful for your donations and it means a lot to us, and we know for sure it will be useful to women and children who came here seeking help whom their lives is at risk”, said Vika ‘Akau’ola, a Safe House staff.

This has not been the first time Ocean of Light International School donates to the Centre but also at the previous year, and the Centre is much appreciated their willingness to help women and children who are survivors of any form of violence through Women & Children Crisis Centre. The Ocean of Light International Schools is known as a Baha'i school and is striving to incorporate Baha'i ideals, principles and concepts into the curriculum and organisation of the school. The Baha'i Faith is the newest of the World Religions. The main purpose of the Faith is to bring about the unity of mankind and establish the world peace. One of the principle implications of this is that the development of character is considered even more important than the academic work.
